Please be respectful of service dogs while they are working!
Handlers are dependent upon their dogs to be alert and focused at all times.
Even brief moments of distraction can put the handler at risk of incurring a serious medical issue.
If you should see a service dog while out in public, please be courteous to the dog and their handler by following this simple guideline:
Avoid eye contact with the dog. Do not make noises or call the dog to get their attention. Try to keep a generous distance between yourself and the dog.
